예방의학으로 의료비 절감

우리나라는 급격히 고령화가 진행되어, 초고령사회로 진입을 하고 있습니다.
이에 반하여 출생률이 급감하여 평생출생아수가 0.6대로 되었습니다.
이는 100명의 남성과 100명의 여성이 있을때 그 자녀수는 60명이 된다는 것입니다.
60명의 자녀는 다시 남성30명과 여성 30명으로 됩니다. 따라서 그 다음대에는 30명의 0.6인 18명의 자녀가 나오게 됩니다.
18명의 자녀는 9명의 남성과 9명의 여성이 됩니다. 즉, 단지 2세대가 지나면 200명이 18명으로 10분의 1로 급감하게 되는 것입니다.
우리나라의 인구수는 이러한 계산에 근거하여 2세대만 지나면 급격히 감소하게 됩니다.
생애주기상 노인기는 의료비가 급증하는 시기입니다. 매년 100만명의 베이비 붐 세대가 은퇴하고 있습니다.
2023년 경상의료비는 216조원이었는데 이것은 한해 국가재정의 3분의 1이 되는 금액입니다.

더욱 심각한 상황은 이 경상의료비는 앞으로 더욱 급격히 증가하게 될 것이라는 점입니다.

즉, 국가재정은 의료비로 인해 지속불가능 상태로 될 것이 분명합니다.
따라서 예방의학을 빨리 도입하여 건강한 노화를 진행하도록 하는 것이 필수적인 상황이 된 것입니다.

그렇지 않다면 대한민국의 국가재정은 의료비로 인하여 디폴트 상태에 빠지게 될 것이 확실시 됩니다.

재난학에서는 예방 비용을 수습비용의 5분의 1이하로 보고 있습니다.

의료비에서도 예방의학이 도입되면서 이보다 더욱 극적인 비용절감이 이루어질 것으로 예측합니다.

건강한 식생활을 제도적으로 도입함으로써 예방의학의 효과는 더욱 급격히 높아질 것입니다.
